How can I secure my trademark globally?

There isn’t a straightforward way to achieve global registration, since broad international coverage requires registration in each country where you need protection.

The most efficient approach for multiple jurisdictions is the Madrid System (WIPO), which allows a single application to designate 130+ member countries simultaneously and reduces ongoing management complexity. Where the Madrid System does not cover a target market, direct national applications are required.

A practical starting point is to identify the markets where you are commercially active or at most risk of brand copying, register in those first, and expand over time. Full global coverage is rarely necessary and is expensive to maintain.
