Can I change the ownership details of my trademark after filing?

Some administrative details can be updated after filing. The owner's name and address can generally be corrected, and ownership can be transferred to a new owner through a trademark assignment at any stage; including while the application is pending.

More substantive/material changes, such as modifying the brand name or logo or expanding the goods and services list, are not permitted after filing. The mark must be renewed in the same form as registered, and the scope of protection cannot be broadened once the application is submitted.
