Yes, significantly. Each country sets its own government fees, and there is no standard global rate. Importantly, some jurisdictions charge applicants a flat fee that covers the entire application, but most charge per class, meaning the more classes you choose, the pricier the application.

The major IP offices, including the EUIPO, USPTO, and UKIPO, all have publicly available fee schedules. Multi-country registrations filed through the Madrid System attract a base fee plus a per-country designation fee for each territory designated.
