I have one trademark in publication. Will there be any consequences if I change the business address of the corporation during this period?

Most IP offices do not accept changes to the applicant's details during the examination and publication period. Administrative updates such as an address change are generally processed after registration is complete.

If you need to change the recorded address urgently, first check if your specific IP office permits address updates for pending applications. Even if it does, it is often better to wait until registration to amend your ownership details. In the interim, your currently listed address will be used for any potential correspondence from the office.
