Japanese trademark fees are charged per class. The application fee is approximately $108 per class, and the registration fee is approximately $253 per class, both applied to each class individually. For two classes, the total government fee would be approximately $216 at application and $506 at registration.
Please note that the JPO does not accept direct payments from applicants residing outside Japan. All payments must be made through an authorized local representative.
