Do I need a specimen of use for each trademark class?

Yes. A separate specimen is required for each class of goods or services included in the trademark application. If your application covers Class 25 (clothing) and Class 41 (educational services), you must submit at least one specimen demonstrating use of the mark in connection with goods in Class 25 and at least one demonstrating use in connection with services in Class 41.

This requirement applies to both use-in-commerce and intent-to-use applications, and also to post-registration maintenance filings. For intent-to-use applications, submitting the specimen with the Statement of Use carries an additional fee of $150 (€150) per class.
