We have several product lines - XX-homme, XX-femme, XX-sport. Shall we trademark all these names or just XX?

Registering the core name (XX) is usually sufficient to cover the entire product range, provided that you include all relevant goods and services in your application. If XX is the brand's dominant and distinctive element, a registration covering it also protects XX-homme, XX-femme, and XX-sport. A third party using any of those variants in the same class and territory would likely be considered to infringe on the XX trademark.

Bear in mind that the ® symbol can only be used with the exact version of the mark that is registered. If you wish to display ® next to XX-sport specifically, a separate registration for that exact phrase would be needed.
