A Name of Living Individual Inquiry means the USPTO examiner suspects your mark identifies a specific living person.

You must respond to the inquiry with a statement either confirming that the mark does identify a specific living individual (in which case you must provide their written consent) or confirming that it does not (in which case you provide that statement directly). Both responses require a formal written submission within the office action deadline.
