Is the UK covered by an EU trademark?

No. The UK left the EU at the end of 2020, and EU trademarks no longer provide protection in the UK. The two are now entirely separate trademark jurisdictions.

For EU trademarks that were registered or pending before 31 December 2020, the UKIPO automatically created equivalent UK trademarks (called "comparable UK trademarks") free of charge. These UK trademarks retain the original EU filing date and registration details, but are now independent UK registrations subject to standard UK renewal fees when they come up for renewal.

Any EU trademark applied for after 31 December 2020 provides no protection in the UK. A separate UK trademark application must be filed with the UKIPO for UK coverage.
