A wordmark, by definition, covers only the text, without any stylistic or visual elements. If you want to protect the specific visual style of your brand, including a distinctive font or typeface, you need to register a figurative mark showing the name as it appears visually, not just the wordmark.

Practically, if your brand name has a distinctive stylized presentation that is central to how customers recognize it, it is recommended that you register both a wordmark (for the name in any form) and a figurative mark (for the specific stylized version). Together, these provide the most complete coverage.
