An entity clarification requirement means the USPTO does not have correct information about the legal entity type of the intended trademark owner. The application specifies one entity type, but other information in the application is inconsistent with it; for example, the application lists an LLC but includes an individual's personal details suggesting sole proprietorship.

The resolution is straightforward: review the application for the discrepancy identified in the office action and submit a correction with the accurate entity type and corresponding details. The USPTO accepts corrections to entity type and owner details when the underlying facts are clarified.
