We will sell on Amazon, mainly kitchenware and tools. How many classes of goods and services do we need for our trademark?

To protect kitchenware and related tools, you should register the trademark in Class 21 as the primary class.

If your business also offers cutlery and kitchen knives, Class 8 covers those. If it includes small kitchen appliances (electric kettles, blenders), Class 7 is relevant. So, for a brand selling a broad range of kitchen products, Class 21 combined with Classes 7 and 8 should cover everything you do.
