Is it better to register the trademark in the UK, the US and the EU all at once?

If the UK, EU, and US are your primary commercial markets, registering in all three simultaneously is optimal. Each registration establishes its own priority date, which prevents third parties from filing before you or trademark squatting in any of those markets while you wait.

Filing simultaneously also means you receive protection in all three markets on approximately the same timeline, which is practically important when launching a brand internationally. The cost of three simultaneous registrations may be higher upfront than a phased approach, but the priority risk of waiting is often the more significant business concern.
